Christmas Lights at the Zoo

Paige and I went to the Zoo Christmas light festival this evening. We had a lot of fun walking around and looking at the lights. Paige thought it was particularly fun to pretend to be eaten by the dinosaurs. :)

With the zoo being dark and cold, you don't really get to see many animals. So if your thinking you are going to witness monkey gymnastics on Christmas lights...think again.

Thursday night I'm a volunteer for the event. Looking forward to it.

Spiced Tea

Was over at a friends house last year around this time and he introduced me to something that his mother used to make when he was growing up....Spiced Tea. Mix equal portions of Tang and Instant Tea (Nestea) into boiling water. Quick...easy... tasty...plus it has my little girl's seal of approval. Only hard part was finding Tang at Walmart. Apparently, the stockers have the ability to cloak it from the naked eye.

Been almost 3 years since I have added anything to my live journal. So much has went on in that time..some good..some bad. Changed jobs twice...my little girl grew like crazy...and I like to think that I'm a bit more wiser than before but let's face it..that's just crazy talk.
